The following video is a short introduction to the concept of three. While quite familiar to some, to others it may be a way of thinking they are not accustomed to, particularly in the sense of making correlations in topics requiring a more directed interest in multiple subjects. For example, whereas you may be familiar with the topic of Biology, you do not customarily study it and therefore are not familiar with more intimate and specific kinds of knowledge but are familiar with everyday cultural uses of the "three" pattern once it is pointed out as a recurring theme of cognitive activity and for example, cognitive activity related to the topics of the origins of consciousness and life occurring in an incrementally deteriorating planetary environment:
The Beauty of three
Unraveling the Origin of the "Three-pattern" as a phenomena of repetition and heightened levels of orientation by multiple people during different eras from their individualized perspectives, whether academically, artistically, or the multiplicity of randomized curious intellects; it should be acknowledged that attempts to do so typically involve referring to the sighted repetition in what can be viewed as stereotypical references, commonly adjusted to the "three" being portrayed with the language of a given interest and very often combined with the desire to make a monetary profit. Here are examples of common labeling used to describe the recurrence of the "threes-pattern", interspersed with more detailed selections found as the orientations for different subject areas.
However, in pursuing some perspective on the origin of the "three", one can not ascribe all examples as being influenced by some religion or mythology. While many ideas and activities are directly and indirectly related to the influence of a religion, it is rather stupid to think that any religion influenced such examples as there being 3 fundamental particles in physics, or a triplet code in DNA, or the 3rd position of the Earth is the result of some religion. It is more likely that the opposite has occurred. And yet, the multiple uses of a "three" theme, whether a person is aware of their usage or not, appear to be a phenomena forged on the anvil of Earth, by simply noting that... at present... Astronomers are not claiming to see a dominant arrangement or occurrence of trinary star groupings.
Binary Star groupings are most often observed and recorded, playing an important role in Astronomy. The ratios of binary systems to triplet and quadruplet systems is 46 to 9 to 2. This suggests the "threes" repetition is Earth based and subject to change as the inter-relationships of the Sun, Earth and Moon change. Unless you want to claim that Astronomers are delusional and can not see a preponderance of trinary star groupings due to an embraced antiquated cultural language of the research discipline, or that the Universe is still quite young and evolving which will later reveal a dominant Trinary star clustering, or perceptions from Earth see only a small fraction of what is actually taking place "out there".
Nonetheless we are (at present) left with a limiting factor in our search for an origination of the three as being Earth based, with observable consequences in the coming centuries, particularly in the face of an active Conservation of Number affecting human civilization. By using this as part of an ongoing intellectual inquiry, the relevance of the "three" as a tell-tale sign of long enduring cognitive activity over millennia in different languages, cultures, and subjects... propose contemplations which can catalogue the changes in human existence and provide a model by which to create a spectrum of predictability and necessity for deliberate change... it at all possible.
If early naturalists, linguists, geologists, herbalists/"apothecarists", metalurgists, etc., had not made their collections, despite any forceful opposition or rolling eye glances from friends, family, colleagues and other professionals in their day and age, we would not have the sciences, philosophy, mathematics, art, theater, military strategy, sports, religion, commerce, education systems, technology, political structures, etc., we have today— for better or worse. No less, someone(s) needs to put those collections together and attempt to create some encompassing philosophy which allows for testability.
- It is a Magic Number (typically aligned with various subjects such as teaching children)
- It is a Mysterious Number
- It is an Angel Number (the "3" by itself)
- It is an Angel Number (a double, triple, quadruple ensemble).
- It is a Message from beyond the normal sphere, ken, amplitude, vibrations, perspicuity, etc., of humanity.
- It is a unique phenomena concealed by way of one or more other numbers, symbols, subtle energies.
- It is a link, a code, a divine spirituality that oneself and a few others become privy to for a reason(s) yet to be uncovered.
- It is used to categorize three common characteristics that Satanic sects share (compare with
cults, wicca, paganism, gangs... some music groups, theater/Ballet ensembles, sports clubs, criminal organizations, "normalized" corporations, government
entities or their subordinate players, etc...):
- An interest in magic (magical thinking/imagination), played out as psychodrama or mystical events (which may include financial/commerce related events).
- The creation of a community that defines membership roles as both people who share a mystical pursuit and those who live according to a set of religious (routinized) tenets (which may also have a particularized dress code).
- A philosophy that thrives on non-conformity (or enforced conformity to their views).
- It is associated with the 3 Major born-in-the-desert religions who believe in the Devil as an actual entity and not merely a word to describe evil:
- Christianity worships a belief in One God, Evil manifested as an entity called the Devil, Satan, etc..., and Angels able to intercede in human affairs.
- Islam Christianity worships a belief in One God, Evil manifested as an entity called the Devil, Satan, etc..., and Angels able to intercede in human affairs.
- Judaism worships a belief in One God, Evil manifested as an entity called the Devil, Satan, etc..., and Angels able to intercede in human affairs.
- It is a value expressed in different words to describe the value of an historically occurring ensemble of god-heads:
- Triads of Egypt for example:
- Triad of Thebes: Amun, Mut and Khons.
- Triad of Memphis: Ptah, Sakhmet and Nefertem.
- Triad of Edfu: Horus, Isis (or Hathor) and Harsomtus.
- Triad of Dendera: Horus, Hathor and Ihi (or Harsomtus).
- Triad of Elephantine: Khnum and the two goddesses Satet and Anuqet. (One male, two females)
- New Kingdom (State) triad of Amun, Re and Ptah [and their cities Thebes, Heliopolis and Memphis.]
- Triads of Western (European) beliefs which may use an addition or multiplication factor of three such as in:
- Pantheons of gods in Roman and Greek Mythology described as the 12 main Olympians (Mount Olympus).
- Greek and Roman pantheons center around three main deities:
- Zeus/Jupiter (King of the Gods).
- Hades/Pluto (God of the Underworld).
- Poseidon/Neptune (God of the Sea).
- Scholars believe that this parallels the three (Eastern) major ancient Hindu gods: Vishnu, Brahma, and Shiva.
- Triads related to the Ancient Greek Gaea Mythology
- Triple goddess figures of Neo-paganism
- Triadic figures in Western beliefs;
- Triad of prominent early Greek philosophers: Socrates taught Plato who taught Aristotle (who taught Alexander the Great)
- Triads of female philosophers, mathematicians, doctors: (No ensemble of three have ever been recorded, though several have been separately named as being famous)
- Triads of male and female singers/musicians and actors: (an increased phenomena of the 20th and 21st centuries)

- Carboxylation: Acceptance of CO2 by RuBP which is a 5-carbon compound and the CO2-acceptor). 2 molecules of 3-phosphoglycerate are generated as the result of the carboxylation process.
- Reduction: Generation of 3C/4C/5C/6C/7C molecules.
- Regeneration of RUBP: 3 molecules of RuBP are regenerated.
- In totality, 3 molecules of CO2 produce 1 molecule of G-3-P. This uses 9 ATPs and 6 NADPHs. And, 6 molecules of CO2 produce 2 molecules of G-3-P which further produce 1 molecule of glucose. This uses 18ATPs and 12 NADPHs. (The main enzyme is RuBisCo)
- Endomorph; has large bones and a higher percentage of body fat than other metabolic types. The endomorph has evolved to be good at storing nutrients–a desirable characteristic in cold, harsh climates where people may be holed up for long periods.
- Ectomorph; is that annoying person who can seemingly eat anything and never gain a pound. However, it can also be very difficult for an ectomorph to gain muscle when they want to, as these people are usually defined by being skinny.
- Mesomorph; in the strictest sense, is the metabolic type that most people want to have. However, only about 10% of the population is true mesomorphs. When thinking about mesomorphs, think about the mythical Greek God physique.
- It can be used to categorize 3 important plant pigments:
- Chlorophyll-a: Its primary function is absorbing sunlight and converting it into chemical energy. It captures photons and uses their energy to initiate a series of electron transfers.
- Chlorophyll-b The green pigment which is responsible for collecting light energy and passing into chlorophyll A during photosynthesis is called
- chlorophyll B. It is found in plants and green algae.
- Cartenoids; vital for life.
- The carotenoids found in fruit, such as the red of tomato (lycopene), the yellow of corn seeds (zeaxanthin), or the orange of an orange peel (ß-carotene), are used to attract seed-dispersing organisms. In photosynthesis, carotenoids function as photosynthetic pigments that are very efficient molecules for the disposal of excess energy. When a leaf is exposed to full sun, the light-dependent reactions are required to process an enormous amount of energy; if that energy is not handled properly, it can do significant damage. Therefore, many carotenoids are stored in the thylakoid membrane to absorb excess energy and safely release that energy as heat.

- 3-value being substituted with the primitive counting value of "Many" which involves the development of a 3rd system:
- Rule of Many;
The proposal from OPM (Federal Office of Personnel Management), at least to some extent, combines two previous systems — the "rule of three" and "category rating" — that agencies have used over the years to determine lists of qualified candidates.
- 3 Constitutional Requirements to run for the U.S. Presidential office:
- Be a natural-born citizen of the United States
- Be at least 35 years old
- Have been a resident of the United States for 14 years
- etc...
In short, none of the foregoing explanations (as well as multiple other references), adequately provide for any deeper insight and realization as to why the number 3 has a recurring prominence (that many attempt to use as a tool for exploiting others). Most accounts do not provide enough information accounting for the presence (or absence) of the number 3 in a variety of interests. Indeed, the presence of number values other-than-the-three would seem to refute the idea that it has any more importance than any other enumerated pattern, unless we look at it in the context of it as an expressed indicator of development that is subjected to constraints of survival in a closed system undergoing incremental deteriorations. Granted, the following is an unconventional explanation which may not sit well with those whose ideological leanings are immersed in a given subject where their many years of attendance has formulated a system of conceptualization best fitting their standards of logic and rationalization which very often makes use of a given vocabulary and symbology for dissection, interpretation, and illustration. Nonetheless, let me provide a different perspective regarding the "3", all the while knowing that a video offering a greater concentration and elaboration of details from multiple subjects is a task long overdue. In as much as I realize this, let me provide a smidgeon of details for the present essay. Providing some inkling as to the widespread usage of a "three" pattern in multiple facets of life, requires the indulgence of observations culled from numerous subjects:
- It is not that we can THINK (or dream or imagine),
- or DO (behaviorally perform),
- or SAY (or write, paint...)
...in some other-than-three fashion, whether we are aware or not...
but, we are being FORCED to adopt/adapt with the use of some "three" model
as a mechanized survival tool that is very often proscribed as a functional
path of compliance we must necessarily traverse due to what appears to be:
- a genetic boundedness of tripletness (the triplet code),
- along with the single strandedness -
- and double strandedness
- as well as a 3rd Non-canonical Strandedness (as an exception, not as a rule)
- a physiological scaffolding of tripartition,
- and a philosophically architectured psychology triangulation...
As an example of strandedness sequencing, revealing a tripartite model of categorization:
- Single stranded (prominent as an "RNA World" instigator of life)
- Double stranded (prominent as a stable DNA model)
- Non-typical poorly viable explorations made by Nature
...which amounts to a disposition, that has been imprinted on us by the Earth's
(Thus requiring a revision of the Shakespearian quote from (As You Like It, Act 2, Scene 7):
They have their their Entrances- Performances- and Departures.
And every life in their time may play many parts.
Be it Friend -Bystander- or Foe; Villain -Journalist- or Hero;
Prey -Intercessor- or Predator; Lover or Otherwise..."
It is a theater with a particularized and in some cases, repeating stagecraft, which can be crudely expressed as a type of ownership brand/mark/tatoo used by a rancher as a means of personalized identification and (manufacturing-like) shelf-life demarcation. (And no, I am not referring to the singular "G-O-D" idea that has been perpetrated, pro-rated and perpetuated by the underlying egotism of some religious groups.) Though we can see both unacknowledged and intentional efforts by some to flee the "three" circumstances of their earthly corral by concealing the brand/barcode by one or another method; let it be emphasized that the threeness of our genetics, the threeness of our anatomy, and the threeness of our philosophically-attached psychology give us and all other Earth-born life forms, a distinction we can not run away from. Extra-terrestrials will know we are from Earth because of our branded markers.
Where humans in the present era have manufactured two types of barcodes:
- 1D (one-dimensional), and 2D (two-dimensional) [with 3 divisions:]—(along with a binary black and white striping as well as start and stop characters)...
The tripartition of Life on the other hand, has been manufactured as a
3D (three-dimensional) barcoded model Interspersed between two {"white noise"}
quiet zones.
Even though there may be some who are obsessed with creating an other-than-three compilation by declaring their favorite number is not three, may not be
fully aware of the totality
of their day-to-day behavior where some model of the three is exhibited in clothing, jewelry, tools, pets, chores, entertainment interests, meals, vehicles,
children, etc... For example, a woman says her favorite number is 7 or 13 or... yet she has three pets, or three children, or 3 jobs, or 3 favorite foods,
etc...
Alternatively we can describe the "three" as the base camp from which many explore less or more-than-three considerations such as for example someone claiming there are more-than-3 dimensions... such as in String Theory [The number of dimensions is said to vary (10, 11, 26) with the specific sub-group of string theory or M-theory you are referring to, but they all have the same three types of dimensions. Three spatial dimensions. Known in common English as "depth", "width", "height".]
With respect to a Base Camp Marker for Biological development, we can use the 3-step Central Dogma of Biology illustration:
You will not customarily come across the idea of Evolution or Biological processes occurring along a numerically designated 1- 2- 3 maturational development sequence, though the 1 - 2 - 3 Germ layers are an easily identifiable representation such that the more complex organisms come from 3 layers and are called Triploblastic, lesser complex organisms come from 2 layers and are called Diploblastic, which leaves us with the 1 layer Monoploblastic where there appear to be no extant examples except for the controversial considered Sponges whose initial development occurred in a very distant past and all other representatives of a single Germ layer have not survived. However, interestingly, another 1- 2- 3 example occurs in the cellular structure called Microtubules. We can see a single, double and triple conformation... with the triple model being used by some to suggest a link with the origination of consciousness. If Microtubules are a pre-life organelle and do indeed have a connection with consciousness, then we might consider the development of consciousness occurring in a 1- 2- 3 step fashion as well. Here is a link where a discussion of Consciousness involving Microtubules is proposed. In this link cells are proposed as being intelligent.
With respect to the cell and the importance of Microtubules:
The cytoskeleton is a structure that helps cells maintain their shape and internal organization, and it also provides mechanical support that enables cells to carry out essential functions like division and movement. There is no single cytoskeletal component. Rather, several different components work together to form the cytoskeleton. The cytoskeleton of eukaryotic cells is made of filamentous proteins, and it provides mechanical support to the cell and its cytoplasmic constituents. All cytoskeletons consist of three major classes of elements that differ in size and in protein composition:
- Microtubules are the largest type of filament, with a diameter of about 25 nanometers (nm), and they are composed of a protein called tubulin.
- Actin filaments are the smallest type, with a diameter of only about 6 nm, and they are made of a protein called actin.
- Intermediate filaments, as their name suggests, are mid-sized, with a diameter of about 10 nm. Unlike Actin filaments and Microtubules, Intermediate filaments are constructed from a number of different subunit proteins.
The cytoskeleton is a network of 3 types of protein polymers, namely the Microtubules, the intermediate filaments and the microfilaments. It also contains numerous proteins that are associated with the fibrous polymers. They nucleate, bundle, cap and link the fibers with each other, with cell organelles and the plasma membrane. It is the mechanical and functional framework for every known cellular function.

Three subgroups of microtubules aid in the process of mitosis: astral, polar, and kinetochore microtubules. Astral microtubules radiate from the MTOCs of a cell to the cell membrane, keeping the mitotic spindle in place. Polar microtubules intertwine between two MTOCs (microtubule organizing centers) and help separate chromosomes.

Out of all the Organelles, the focus is on the structure with an easily identifiable "3" structure, though one could consider that consciousness... if it is linked with Triplet Microtubules, that the singlet and doublet models are related to some "before" or preceding variation, suggesting consciousness may have a 3-step developmental procedure and even perhaps exists in three forms. In any respect, the cognitive appeal of the "three" shows up in many varieties along multiple paths. Along with a discussion of Consciousness and the proposed idea three forms or 1 form with 3 identities or emerging by way of a 3-step process, one might think of the plausibility when we encounter such notions as the 3 divisions of nature with attendant souls characterized by Aristotle and the overall Nature of the human soul construed with the dimensions of a body- soul- mind. No less, to these let us add the view of three souls referenced as a young soul- old soul- ancient soul. In several cases we find those who assimilate the idea of three souls based on either Aristotle or Plato, while others become creatively adventuresome and design alternative ideas... yet still retain an underlying three-based formula where the word "soul" takes on a personalized reference related to relationships often described in dichotomous terms:

Most often we see references to the "three" incorporated into Metaphysical, Philosophical, Religious and Mythological themes construed in attributes to be personalized, because it is difficult for some to relate to intricate and intimate materials from subjects with a mathematical or science orientation. Nonetheless, the use of "three" is a commonly used rule of thumb. However, let us not overlook how very limited is the quantity of alternative ideas. Whereas different languages use different words, it may be the case that in all cultures we find a similar limitation we can alternatively describe as a Conservation of Number, if not a Conservation of Qualitative description, definition and depiction in music, myth, mathematics, etc...
If we itemize the 3-part reference of Body- Mind- Soul, we have already seen how the Soul is described in a Tripartite fashion. As for the body, we have several examples culled for different life forms:
- 3 animal body cavity types based on the coelem:
- Acoelomates, no body cavity
- Pseudocoelomates, false body cavity
- Coelomates, true body cavity

- 3 human body types: Ectomorph- Mesomorph- Endomorph (seen also in how the Buddha is portrayed in statues)
- 3 insect body divisions: Head- Thorax- Abdomen (Arthropods)
- 3 parts of a plant: Roots- Stems- Leaves
- 3 parts of a plant seed: Embryo- Endosperm- Seed coat
- 3 different leaf forms of the Sassafras tree/shrub: an oval shape- a mitten shape- a three-lobed leaf
- 3 main body regions of molluscs:
- a head-foot, which is the sensory and locomotive part of the body.
- a visceral mass containing the excretory, digestive, and circulatory organs.
- the mantle, which secretes the shell.
- 3 types of body symmetry: Asymmetrical- Radial- Bilateral
- etc...
With respect to the Mind, we can also find several tripartite references:
- 3 divisions of the mind: the conscious mind - the subconscious mind - and the unconscious mind.
- 3 divisions of Consciousness: Pre-consciousness, Consciousness- Post, or Super/Supra- consciousness.
- 3 divisions of elevated consciousness:
- Super, still retains a direct physical bond with common consciousness
- Supra, it may vacillate an inter-connectivity with Super-consciousnes, but its ideation differs from consciousness.
- Suppostional, that which many strive for and consider to exist in a detached "beyond the ethereal horizon".
(Beyond any and all states of Buddhism or any Eastern Philosophy, including the Western obsession with a singular
god figure perpetrated and perpetuated by Desert- born religious ideas.)
- 3 models of Sanity: Insane- Sane- Super/Hyper-Sane
- 3 models of the mind/body/soul interactivity: Average/Common- Above Average/Talented- Genius/Gifted
- 3 Models of consciousness based on present day "testable" (Laboratory, Faith, Hunch..."3rd person") phenomena:
- Involving what may be described as (continental) Integration (collision/collusion) models, Global models, Independent (island) models.
- Involving Emergent property models, Flux or Slag models, Reverberation/Oscillation models.
- Involving a God/Goddess presence, an Aura or Astro-projection model, a Primivity of mind/brain development.
- Consciousness produced by Neuronal correlates based on 3 categories: Motor neurons- Sensory neurons- Interneurons.
- 3 types of glia in the brain: Oligodendrocytes- Microglia- Astrocytes.
- 3 types of glial cells (alternatively described as): Astrocytes- Oligodendrocytes- Ependymal cells.
- Consciousness based on Electrical Activity thresholds (non-magnetic field resonations though other emergent properties suggested).
- Consciousness based on Electro-Magnetic fields, ...that the digital information from neurons is integrated to form a conscious electromagnetic information (cemi) field in the brain. Consciousness is suggested to be the component of this field that is transmitted back to neurons, and communicates its state externally.
- a 'Reptilian,' or 'R-complex' formation.
- a 'Paleomammalian' formation, or limbic system.
- a 'Neomammalian' formation.
If we move into the realm of ideas concerning that exterior to ourselves, for example, "Coincidentally" we (historically) have 3 recurring ideas of planetary system: models of Astronomical Phenomena (even though multiple other ideas of the solar system may have been thought of by one of your ancestors, yourself or the next door neighbor's scientifically minded dog):
Ptolemaic Model
The Ptolemaic model known as the Geocentric model, was developed by an Egyptian astronomer Claudius Ptolemy. It came from the Greek words geo meaning Earth
and centric meaning center. This model explains that the Earth is the center of the universe and everything else revolves around it. Each planet moves in a
circular path called epicycle which moves around a larger circular path called deferent. The moon revolves around the Earth followed by the other planets.
Copernican Model
This is also known as the Heliocentric model developed by a Polish mathematician Nicolaus Copernicus. It came from the Greek words helios meaning sun and
centric meaning center. This model explains that the center of the universe is the Sun and that the majority of the planets revolve around it. Also, the
epicycle moves in an elliptical motion not circular. The moon revolves around both the Earth and the Sun while Earth revolves around the Sun.
Tychonic Model
This model was developed by a Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe. It was the combination of Ptolemaic and Copernican models. This explains that the planets of the
Solar System revolve around the Sun but the Earth is the center of the universe. The Sun, due to its massive size, attracts the remaining planets and drags
them along its revolution around the Earth - like metals attracted to a magnet! Simply put, the Sun revolves around the Earth and the planets revolve around
the Sun.
And... instrumentally coincidental as well, we find that there are 3 basic shapes (geometries) to the Universe, though others are postulated as well:
Life is subjected to an ENFORCED participation with the "three" pattern as a prerequisite survival tool by an incrementally deteriorating planetary system which has been exhibiting an influential 3-patterned strobe-like irradiation effect— as a result of the Earth's rotation which is slowing down and causing the 3-part influence of the Sun's 3 "moments/phases" called dawn-noon-dusk, to effect a type of "fusion" impression which life in its multiple facets has already begun to exhibit in different models. I call these examples a 3 to 1 ratio, though others prefer to call them patterns-of-four or a quartet, quaternion, etc... Each life form responds to changes in the solar influence (as well as absence thereof) within the scope of its ability to do so. The influence can take place in a geometric or other form, consistent with a particular life form in question during a given era.
Despite all the illusions, delusions and rationalizations humans are known to create or be subjected to in an effort to delete, obscure, deface, (or embellish, abstract, contort) and otherwise change the prevailing "three" reality, they can not do so... even if we come to an understanding of the "three" origin. For example, how do we not create life without a triplet genetic code? And even if we manage to do so, what do we do about the three-patterned influence of the Sun's 3 moments/phases, and its eventual 3-to-1 fusion that will be more impactful as the Earth's rotation continues to slow?
For example, instead of exhibiting a "3" a life form may exhibit a triangular configuration such as the V-shaped flight formation of migrating birds, or the (Bi-layered) triangular mound of some "higher" termites (using a 3-part mixture of: soil, termite saliva and dung), or a triangular shape with more than three sides called pyramids (Egyptians had difficulty dimensionally portraying accurate side views of figures with depth, so they turned the upper torso), or a Native American Teepee, or V-shaped engine blocks, or triangular boomerangs, etc... (If the image of a 3-pattern comes to mind but the number doesn't, how would you portray it?... use an "M" like a two-humped camel, or an "E", or a "W" or construct a 3-legged stool or a 3-tong pitch fork, or tricorn hat, or 3-branches government, or develop a 3 out of 4 or 5 toed foot that may be a 3-in-1 fusion like the horse's hoof, or 3 main University degrees, or employ a 3-medal worldly sporting event called the Olympics, or breed all thoroughbreds from three horses, or develop an idea of 3 families of fundamental particles...?)
It is not that we can't conceive of something that is an expressed other-than-3 form or formula, it is just that we are FORCED by our environmental circumstances which has configured our genetics and physiology to comply with the "3". Whether the form of the "3" is good or bad, it is still a 3-form or 3 formula. Analogously, just because there are multiple Chess pieces, each with their own "personality" and interactive capability among their peer group, does not erase the fact that all of them are subjected to the existence of an underlying 64 squares configuration in which there are three directions which they may move: Horizontally- Diagonally- Vertically. No less, despite some readers having engaged in making the correlation between the "64" squares of chess/checkers, the 64 hexagrams in the I Ching (Chinese) Philosophy and the 64 amino acids (with the 3 -to- 1 ratio of 3 stop and 1 start codons; including the 3 -to- 1 ratio found in Mendelian genetics}... the question remains as to why such correlations exist as fundamental patterns.
However it is of need to interject the comment that the I-Ching Triads are actually embellished Byads. One has to look at the development of conceptualization in different subjects in different eras and different places in order to contemplated the correlations of development which take place. In other words, the I Ching triads are expressions of embellished binaries/dichotomies/dualities due to the level of development of the ancient Chinese with a parallel to be found in Western civilization's use of symbolic logic called Mathematics.

It doesn't matter that Mathematics conjures up a notion of multiple dimensions (string theory says 10 dimensions), we still live in three... or if you prefer, a 3-to-1 ratio of dimensions by citing 3 spatial and 1 time. If we look at the named four fundament forces: weak, strong, nuclear, gravity, we could group them as 3 dichotomies:
- Strong/Weak (existence of neutrons viewed as a consequence of these two different nuclear forces
- Nuclear (...a force that acts between the protons and neutrons of atoms.)
- Gravity (...describes the resulting interaction between two masses)
We could view them as 3 forces (According to relativity, gravity is not considered a force. And according to the Standard Model, Gravity is not included.) Or we could view them as a 3-to-1 ratio: {strong- nuclear- weak} + {gravity}. However, it is important to note that present concepts in physics may well change as we get further into the future. Also, there is no guarantee that the atomic physics of today will remain standard. The structure of the Atomic particle family may well change similar to the dynamics of families on the biological level.
It doesn't matter if your favorite number is 7 or 13 or 15 billion, you still live in a world where you end a sentence with a period, or a guestion mark, or an exclamation point. You also observe a 3-colored traffic light and pledge allegiance to a 3-colored flag (in the U.S., Britain, France, Russia, etc...), and though there are several hundred languages, there is the underlying commonality of using a subject- object- verb... mix or match as you will; in what is referred to as Word Order, that may be fluid (dynamic) or static (variably unchanging).
The "three" appears to be an Earth-specific product since one after another Astronomer cites Binary star systems as being the most dominant. And though biological materials may be prolific in outer space, these precursive necessities of life do not mix and become life until they are subjected to a three-patterned strobe-light effect in an Earth-like environment. In other words, it doesn't matter if the sand, rock and cement materials for life came from someplace outside the Earth. While on Earth they became subjected to a fast spinning Earth billions of years ago which acted like a laboratory centrifuge situated beneath a 3-patterned solar irradiation effect. It represents a specific type of mixing event... similar to that in many baking circumstances. Hence, we see a universal triple genetics code from which sprouted a 3-germ layer architecture for the "higher" (more complex) life forms [from earth worms to humans], from which we get multiple physiological expressions of the "3", such as the three-patterned forms in Anatomy.
Currently, no theory explains all the fundamental forces - gravitational force, electromagnetic force, strong force (interaction), and weak force (interaction).
The modern theory to explain the electromagnetic force is known as the quantum electrodynamics; the theory that explains the electromagnetic and weak interactions together is known as the electroweak theory; and the theory that explains the strong interaction is known as the quantum chromodynamics. The theory that aims to merge the electroweak theory and the quantum chromodynamics to explain the electromagnetic, weak, and strong interactions together is known as the grand unified theory but has not been completely successful yet.
The gravitational force is a completely different beast altogether. The best theory for gravitational force is still Einstein's general theory of relativity but it does not merge well with the theories of other interactions. The name proposed for the theory that will explain all the four interactions together is the 'Theory of everything' but there is no definite evidence that such a theory exists - we just speculate that it should exist.
