Let me confess that I have been practicing a Non-Binary model of sexuality for a while. Due to the long stretch of being celibate, I am physically non-binary but remain mentally heterosexual, which is the dominant practice of sexuality in Nature. For those readers who have not had sex in a while, you too might well define yourself as being non-binarily sexual. However, if you have a rather limited definition of what "non-binary" means, you apply this solely to sexuality and not an enlarged world-view involving all subjects and perceptions. In other words, those who aren't engaging in sex for whatever reason, are participating in a non-binary model of sexuality.
Using the term "non-binary" is not limited to the application of a preferred sexual activity or orientation. Having no physical sex doesn't mean someone isn't engaging in what has been referred to as "intellectual intercourse" or "verbal intercourse" where nothing involving sex is ever spoken of. Indeed, if we wish to engage in further abstractions and metaphors, one might say the women writers will never achieve the status of male writers because there is the underlying requirement where thoughts and feelings are "put into" words... thus insinuating all of writing is a symbolic model of intercourse, where the ancient stylus, quill and more present day pens and pencils are phallic symbols.
Use of the term "non-binary" is not owned by sex oriented individuals. Attempts by individuals in the LGBTQ+ to frame the term according to its members preferences is much like religions who think they own words such as God, Heaven, Hell, Sacred, etc..., just because its members have a tradition of using such terms to satisfy their own preoccupations such as the concepts of a Judgment day and Armageddon. "Non-binary" is in some respects synonymous with "Non-Duality" and its derivatives. You can apply them to any subject, so long as those who are interested in what you have to say are familiarized with your usage of the term in the context being applied. Hence, the fact that I pursue threes research means I'm non-binary, non-dual, non-dichotomous, etc., in orientation.
One's particular experiences of an Evolutionary based development into a third consciousness can take the form of an intellectually expressed sexual orientation that may or may not be coupled with a practiced non-binary sexual activity.
The situation is much like that found in the 1960s hippie communes or villages in which some claimed themselves to be sexuality active but were not, those that claimed they were not but actually were, and those that did not practice any model of sexuality out of marriage. Similarly, not all those giving the pretence for being homosexual or lesbian or even conventional, are what others might interpret them to be. However, the point I want to make is that those who adopt sexuality as a means by which they are expressing a developmental trend of consciousness, are misguided simpletons, regardless of wealth, social position, or education. The words "non-binary" are not owned nor regulated by the silly views propagated by the LGBTQ+ clan/cult/congress. (I am using the word "congress" in a pejorative way such as when it is being used to describe A Congress of Baboons in relation to the U.S. Congress, whether or not you prefer the word "troop".)
While some individuals in the LGTQ+ truly are experiencing a developmental shift in consciousness in terms we can define in Evolutionary terms, others are copycats... thinking that by joining in they too are a presumed advanced "3rd" species when they actually are sexual/emotional/intellectual perverts, sadists/masochists, predators, pretenders, pornographers, persecutors, deviants, etc... Then again, millions of other people are also experienced individualized variations of the developmental shift as well but use other-than their sexuality to express it. However, in both cases we find established institutions such as the phony political models, religious models, economic models, race/gender-defined cultural models, music genre models, and numerous other models which have become standardized into transformations of misguided directions perpetrated by leaderships of idiocy whose followers blindly perpetuate due to some self-created premise they are the vanguard at the threshold of some momentous historical realization. Indeed, they not only want to create personalized realities in which their illusions and delusions will prosper, but create social mechanisms which foster presumed permissions for vulnerable populations to indulge in the same nonsense as if it were not only an accepted but expected and thus reciprocally respected normalcy for a person to pursue some distorted greater sense of self where their convoluted definitions of freedom exercise no constraints and propose some adulterated sensibility of not being subjected to limitations in order for a person to become the best they can become, so long as they defer to the socially accepted models of mental illness repackaged under the guise of some LGBTQ+ self-absorption.
While you may be experiencing some variant of a developmental shift to what can be labeled a 3rd consciousness (though others may label it something in accord with their preferred vocabulary), and promote and/or participate in some LGBTQ+ orientation or acceptance, this doesn't mean that membership in this clan/cult/congress automatically defines you as an advanced species. But what do you do with the change in consciousness other than use sexual perversions as an excuse to support feelings of disenfranchisement from the present more normalized/commonalized society which has little to no clue or understanding that humanity has been venturing towards a third consciousness path for centuries? How can your 3rd consciousness experiences expand to a greater realization when you eventually discover the LGBTQ+ is just another model of constraint like so many other social models including those in the sphere of education? The LGBTQ+ clan/cult/congress is a very restrictive ideology which insists on a person becoming a member in order to identify oneself as someone experiencing a new-found freedom... shackled to yet another system of restraint because it too does not acknowledge nor teach a realization of a developing 3rd consciousness which does not require practices of sexual exhibitionism/inhibitionism, nor is such a developmental shift largely guaranteed to develop further by such indulgences.
While it is claimed that both male and female "self-sexuality" has persisted over the entire history of humanity, there is no evidence to support such a view. Though some evidence suggests it has been with humanity for several centuries, there is nothing concrete to show us it originated the very same day humanity itself originated. It may make members of the LGBTQ+ feel good about themselves to make bold statements about origination, but the claims have no real evidence for the entire compass of human existence. Nonetheless, many of the clans' members prefer to lie than tell the truth.
The fact that we do have some evidence for extended periods of time for homosexual practices and this contrasts with what some believe to be the Darwinian imperative that human life needs to have different sex pairs for procreation and perpetuation of the species; let us not jump to the conclusion that sexuality is the only established dominant feature of human behavior everyone needs to be obsessively compulsed about every minute of every hour of every day..., nor that human sexuality is the dominant means by which evolutionary development expresses itself, since sexuality is a given among all species throughout the spectrum of life... even though we are still wrestling with whether to define viruses as life in the more typical sense.
While sexuality is a necessity for perpetuation of the species, it also portrays mental and emotional states of being. Take away sexuality, and the species will... and does adaptively use other mechanisms of physiology. For example, the idea of practicing celibacy and monogamy are alternatives which have been used for centuries as mechanisms by which the human species has developed advances in intelligence and technological avenues, despite all the negativity one might want to apply regarding both human society and technology. Both have certainly created problems and are exploited by leaderships whose biases often create even more hardships for millions. Yet, the LGBTQ+ is one of those expressed results whose leaderships and participants want to establish themselves as some profound realization of humanity... just like some early cults which later became institutionalized religions and other early pagan practices later became established sciences/mathematics out of similarly crude beginnings. Yet, while some practices mature, others like politics, religion and Homo-sexuality have fostered a preferenced retention of lies, theft, manipulation, exploitation and practices of social imprisonment.
Show me a self-described (sexually oriented) non-binary person and I will show you someone who is (possibly) venturing into the realm of a developing Third Consciousness... but not because of their sexuality, but in spite of it as a distraction which typically prevents them from realizing a full potential of that which evolution is directed towards. Indeed, while some of the active or inactive members of the LGBTQ+ clan/cult/congress do not directly claim themselves to be Non-Binary, they express such an orientation in their single-sided homosexuality, lesbianism, and even masturbatory antics. There are different ways a primitive thinking person might use their sexuality to project an expression of an evolutionary developing brain into a third consciousness. However, most people who are venturing along this path do not need to resort to using their sexuality in such a primitive way. Nor do they need to label themselves as a 3rd species which some in the cult/clan/congress do. They don't need to revert to some ancient neuroses/psychotic-driven model akin to an ancient fertility rite-of-passage get-together.
Look past their acts and claims of being non-binary as an attempted expression of personally acquired enlightenment, sophistication and freedom... particularly when cast within the staged scenery of wealth, power, or position; and you will see a thriving mental illness they are trying to cope with; but society has not learned how to teach the public how to transition into a third consciousness without resorting to the use of self-absorbed primitive activities guarded and promoted by those with wealth, or the accouterments of intellectualism (such as philosophy, law, psychology, sociology, political science...) they feel are worthy of being used as a complimentary weapon, shield, or concealed solicitation which frequently subscribes to efforts of seeking out those who are emotionally vulnerable, immature, or easily ambushed and manipulated to join in one or another model of their impassioned digressions/diversions.
Because so-called normal society is not aware of, much less understand how overwhelming a developing third consciousness can find its way into any given individual, our so-called normal society leaves such a population no choice but to find some relative measure of basic expression that those in the LGBTQ+ cult/clan/congress take advantage of and exploit as many as they can because the over-riding agenda of its different leaders is as simple as the single-mindedness of leaderships in antiquity... which was to enslave and create a coterie of endured servants under the illusion of increased freedom... much in the manner which the present day (many) models of Democracy, Socialism, and Communism do... not to mention Religion, Eastern philosophy, Capitalism, Military service and basic commercialism all play a part in against the public.
If we scrutinize the Military, what we find is a practiced Socialism and Commune-ism:
Hypocrisy... just like the LGBTQ+ nonsense. Since when does a Democracy need to be protected by a Socialist/Communist organization? Because Democracy protects such ideologies it allows for them to be used as indentured servants called soldiers as a type of reciprocation?
As evidence that the orientation towards a Third Consciousness exists and has existed for a very long time but did onto involve as many out-spoken people as it does today, let us look at a few examples of the developmental expression which may substitute the word "binary" with words such as pairing, dichotomy, duality... etc... :
- The earlier binary yin/yang met with the later development of the I-Ching Triads (which are actually embellished dyads).
- The old binary religious orientation such as Heaven/Hell, good/bad, etc., has frequently been challenged by newer ideas involving some expression of "threeness" such as the Christian Trinity, Hindu Trimurti, Buddhist triadism, non-binary philosophy (which does not fall victim to using sexuality), tri-partite religious meditation chants (such as Om: A-U-M)... etc...
- The older established underlying binary model which modern mathematics is based on has created "three-modeled" formulas and practices such as the Pythagorean theorem, Trigonometry, 1-2-3 set theory, Boolean logic...
- The underlying binary model of computer language is trying to be usurped by quantum computing indulging in the use of a ternary/trinary language.
- The old use of a single traffic light evolved into a standard three-light expression. (Evolution of traffic lights)
- The use of two chopsticks used by Asians has either a Middle Eastern three-finger or European three-utensil alternatives/substitutions.
- We do not know the exact sequence by which present day particle physics ended up with three families of fundamental particles.
- As far as we presently know, life arose on the 3rd planet. We do not know if Mercury was first followed by Venus and then Earth.
- Single-stranded RNA was followed by a double-stranded DNA which was followed by a three-conformation protein structure.
- Single Germ layer life forms were followed by double Germ layer life forms which were followed by triple Germ layer life forms.
- Basketball initially had a single point shot. This was followed by the development of a 2-point shot and this was followed by a 3-point shot.
- Baseball may have initially begun by having 1 strike and 1 out, but such early stages are not often considered as part of the history.
- Present day Olympic games practices evolved into offering 3 Medals.
- Personal names have evolved from single names, to double names and then triple names being used by millions of people; adopted as a pattern once used by ancient Romans. From a monomial to a binomial then to a trinomial naming convention: Roman Naming Conventions
- Single-handed Sun dials were replaced by single-handed (hour) clocks that were evolved into two-handed (hour/minuted)clocks followed by three-handed (hour/minute/second) handed clocks, {now followed by digital variations which continue a usage of the three-arrangement time measurement}.
- etc...
However, let us note that while both Nature and its life-form model called humans can strive for a "more-than-three" expression, something in the basic design of the environment impresses the need for a retention of the "three" as a viable standard survival mechanism such as the triplet code of DNA, and the use of this pattern having a remarkably recurring frequency in human anatomy, not to mention the three families of fundamental atomic particles and the triad structure of syllogistic logic.
In addition, while looking for an environmental "branding iron" system of impression, let us note not only the recurring 1-2-3 sequencing, but also the 3-t-1 ratio (frequently mislabeled as a four) and that Nature need not be limited to a practice of addition since we humans make use of decimals and fractions, as well as multiplications and divisions along with subtractions. For example, we humans have the idea of Pi simplified as 3.14. Hence, it is a "3" with a slight variation. No less, we see the use of fractionation when speaking of sub-atomic particle energies, and some are obsessed with the idea of fractals... that I see as splinters. In short, let us permit ourselves flexibility in our thinking.
